Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with US-based domain and product teams to analyze requirements and surface technical ambiguities early.
- Design detailed test cases, execute exploratory and functional testing on feature tickets, and lead manual quality assurance processes.
- Own the defect life cycle end-to-end, including precise bug reporting, clear reproduction step documentation, and issue triage.
- Perform thorough API testing using Postman and manage testing environments using mocked or stubbed data sets.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams by reading modern JavaScript/TypeScript codebases to drive intelligent QA strategies.
- Execute test plans independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, continuous integration environment (Working Hours: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM PKT).
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Senior SQA Engineer with direct experience collaborating with US clients.
- Strong manual QA foundation focused on requirements analysis, test design, and bug tracking.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills suitable for direct stakeholder management.
- Ability to work onsite in DHA Phase 8, Lahore during US-aligned operational shift hours.
Technical Skills Required
- API & Functional Testing: Postman, API testing, functional testing, exploratory testing, integration testing.
- Web Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frontend framework familiarity.
- Automation & Tools (Plus): Cypress, Jest, Vitest, SDET automation practices, stubbed/mocked data conversion.
