Company Overview

BrightWire is an emerging, Pakistan-based boutique web design and development studio dedicated to engineering high-performance e-commerce ecosystems. We build modern storefronts, tailored architectural extensions, and bespoke applications for an international portfolio of enterprise clients.

As an agile, engineering-first agency, we bypass heavy bureaucratic corporate layers, allowing our development team to possess complete, end-to-end technical autonomy over product shipments, digital store builds, and direct client collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Storefront Engineering: Architect and deploy highly functional, responsive e-commerce storefronts completely from scratch utilizing the latest Shopify Online Store 2.0 (OS 2.0) guidelines.

Figma-to-Code Implementation: Transform high-fidelity user interface concepts and Figma designs into pixel-perfect, clean, and reusable programmatic Liquid sections.

Store Optimization & Maintenance: Audit, troubleshoot, patch, and extend pre-existing client storefront code structures to optimize core web vitals and overall page speed.

Structured Data Structuring: Build out semantic data models utilizing native Shopify metafields, advanced metaobjects, and modular app blocks to power dynamic web content.

E-Commerce Logistics Configuration: Set up complex, region-specific international checkouts, processing gateways, shipping matrix boundaries, tax parameters, and market localizations.

Direct Client Consulting: Communicate directly with global client networks asynchronously and via video calls to collect requirements, present development iterations, and address code bugs without an intermediate account manager.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional engineering experience operating within the Shopify ecosystem, writing specialized template engines, or configuring corporate digital storefronts.
  • Direct background working with Shopify Online Store 2.0 paradigms, including JSON templates, sections-everywhere, and native app blocks.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, displaying the maturity and confidence required to handle client-facing technical consults independently.
  • Sharp problem-solving tendencies, with a track record of handling multiple layout changes or feature add-ons under fluid timelines.
  • Academic Baseline: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent display of strong frontend engineering projects and real-world store code repos.

Technical Skills Required

Core Web Stack: Absolute mastery over standard vanilla frontend technologies, specifically HTML5, semantic CSS3, and modern asynchronous JavaScript (ES6+).

Shopify Engine Programming: Complete familiarity with Liquid templating logic, Shopify API endpoints, schema structures, and native JSON configurations.

Version Control Workflows: Proficient habits managing distributed software code bases using Git and remote platforms like GitHub.

Design & Framework Exposure (Preferred): Pre-existing exposure inspecting design specs within Figma, writing modern decoupled applications using Next.js or React, or launching custom applications inside the Shopify App ecosystem.
