Key Responsibilities
- Architect, construct, and maintain custom WordPress websites and web applications tailored to corporate security and technology solutions.
- Develop, customize, and extend bespoke WordPress themes, custom post types (CPTs), and functional plugins.
- Translate visual mockups and UX wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible web pages.
- Execute end-to-end web projects from initial technical requirements gathering to final server deployment and long-term site maintenance.
- Perform comprehensive site performance optimization, security hardening, SEO best practice execution, and core system updates.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end engineers, and project leads to integrate external REST APIs and deliver robust platform features.
- Systematically test web applications, produce technical documentation, and debug front-end and back-end issues.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record in professional full-lifecycle web development covering both front-end and back-end WordPress ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience developing custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg/page builder components from scratch.
- Strong understanding of corporate/B2B website structures, security protocols, and performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Ability to work on-site at the Lahore office, manage multi-project workflows, and meet steady release deadlines.
- Prior exposure to technology, biometric equipment, or access control domain communication is considered a strong plus.
Technical Skills Required
Core Web Technologies: High proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (Vanilla / jQuery).
WordPress Ecosystem: Mastery of WordPress CMS architecture, custom taxonomy construction, database queries, and plugin integration.
API Integration: Hands-on experience connecting third-party web services and RESTful APIs into WordPress environments.
Performance & Security: Practical experience with caching mechanisms, code minification, database cleanup, SSL/TLS, and security hardening against vulnerabilities.
Build & Workflow Tools: Familiarity with Git version control, cPanel/Linux server management, and responsive frameworks.
