Key Responsibilities
Engineering Organization Leadership: Direct, mentor, and scale distributed cross-functional engineering teams and technical leads across multiple core financial product lines.
Delivery Lifecycle Ownership: Take complete ownership of end-to-end technical delivery frameworks, maximizing product throughput, predictability, and software launch quality.
Architecture Strategy Configuration: Establish the overarching technical architecture blueprints, system-design guidelines, and infrastructure standards to secure highly scalable and reliable products.
Cross-Team Coherence Engineering: Serve as the central technical focal point to ensure distinct microservices, third-party integrations, and cross-team dependencies fit together cleanly.
Strategic Tri-Party Partnership: Collaborate closely with product management, QA automated testing desks, and cybersecurity infrastructure teams to map out roadmap execution and mitigate systemic risk.
Talent Bar Preservation: Lead technical recruitment criteria, design core coding assessments, and direct clear career growth plans to groom future senior software architects.
Security & Compliance Governance: Infuse security-aware engineering habits, transaction audit trails, and data safety compliance routines directly into the continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Experience & Qualifications
Executive Engineering Tenure: Minimum of 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a substantial history serving in senior engineering leadership, Director of Engineering, or CTO capacities.
Scale-Up Platform History: Verified experience scaling multi-product cloud applications and steering larger development structures through high-velocity business phases.
Technical Architecture Mastery: Deep, hands-on background in systems design, database clustering, and high-performance routing protocols, remaining technical enough to earn senior engineers' trust.
Fintech Domain Pedigree: Proven experience navigating technical development pipelines within digital wallets, transactional payments gateways, core banking engines, or ledger networks.
Disciplined Delivery Execution: Exceptional communication skills matched with the structural judgment required to track the whole-system picture without losing shipping velocity.
Technical Skills Required
Deep functional architecture fluency in building transaction systems, payment gateway integrations (ISO 8583/API), and PCI-DSS compliant software.
Practical mastery over high-throughput, distributed backend languages (such as Go, Java, Node.js, or Python) and relational/non-relational database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience deploying modern cloud-native systems (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) using container automation (Kubernetes, Docker) and structured CI/CD tracks.
Expert command of security automation setups, end-to-end cryptographic encryption standards, and digital ledger auditing tools.
