Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Global AT OE Cycle Time Engineer, you’ll be responsible for improving performance across the manufacturing network. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and central teams to eliminate obstacles during operations.

Key Responsibilities

Metrics & Dashboards: Develop and maintain cycle time metrics and dashboards to streamline decision-making.

Data Analysis: Gather and review data from backend manufacturing sites to identify performance gaps.

Improvement Projects: Participate in projects to reduce cycle time and help pinpoint root causes of issues.

Methodology Learning: Learn best known methods (BKM) and standard methodologies, applying them across the network.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional partners (Operations, Planning, Engineering) to understand business needs.

Reporting: Prepare necessary material for performance reviews and meetings.

Standardization: Contribute to training materials and documentation to keep standards consistent.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Skilled in data visualization tools (like Tableau or Power BI) and statistical analysis.

Manufacturing Knowledge: Basic understanding of backend manufacturing processes and cycle time management concepts.
