Key Responsibilities
Head the comprehensive internal audit function and take total administrative and operational ownership of the Internal Audit Department.
Design, establish, and refine the overarching operational framework and baseline procedures for an effective corporate internal auditing system.
Construct and execute strategic annual internal audit plans covering all high-risk infrastructure and corporate activities while ensuring total compliance with statutory public obligations.
Evaluate the core systemic efficiency of cross-functional operational processes and internal control matrices to deliver high-level corrective recommendations.
Oversee corporate compliance with strict public-sector financial regulations, public procurement rules, and complex institutional reporting conditions.
Interface directly with executive boards and external regulatory monitoring agencies to report on institutional governance, corporate vulnerability, and risk metrics.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification corporate experience, with at least 5 years of direct senior-level exposure in advanced auditing, active risk management, and internal control architectural design.
Professional structural background within State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) or large-scale public infrastructure institutions is highly preferred.
Must be a Pakistani citizen or a dual-national holding valid Pakistani nationality.

Technical Skills Required
Active, certified corporate membership in a globally recognized body of professional accountants, possessing full CA (Chartered Accountant) or FCMA (Fellow Cost and Management Accountant) credentials.

Deep proficiency navigating corporate ERP architectures, digital risk assessment software packages, and complex accounting database systems.
