Key Responsibilities


Track, audit, and manage warehouse inventory allocations using specialized computerized databases and digital scanning tools.


Coordinate the physical movement, loading schedules, and verification documentation for incoming and outgoing global shipments.


Organize warehouse storage layout zones to maximize total space utilization, workflow capacity, and facility operational efficiency.


Safely operate automated and mechanical equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and complex material-handling systems.


Execute routine warehouse safety protocols, troubleshoot inventory status discrepancies, and carry out quality control inspections.



Experience & Qualifications


High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ambitious recent high school graduates and veterans are highly encouraged to apply.


Must meet the formal academic placement requirements for enrollment at Southwest Community and Technical College.


Lawful eligibility to work within the United States, alongside reliable daily transportation to commute between the workplace and college campus.


Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities to successfully balance a multi-year academic and operational schedule.



Technical Skills Required


Fundamental computer proficiency and comfort using basic digital applications or inventory scanning hardware.


Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), enterprise inventory tracking databases, and logistics software platforms.


Knowledge of occupational safety protocols, material-handling guidelines, and quality assurance inspection frameworks.


Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, lean concepts, or 5S workplace organizational practices.
