Key Responsibilities
Own the technical direction and architecture across the entire system pipeline, spanning web scraping, data enrichment, automated website auditing, and campaign handoff.
Evaluate complex build-vs-buy engineering choices regarding open-source infrastructure, custom code, and third-party SaaS integrations.
Write detailed technical scopes, estimate production timelines realistically, and clearly define execution metrics for the full-stack engineering team.
Lead, mentor, and perform code reviews for developers to continuously elevate quality assurance, inference cost optimization, and deployment workflows.
Function as the principal client-facing technical authority, translating non-technical stakeholder requirements into structured engineering roadmaps.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of production software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years specifically architecting live AI/ML or automation systems.
Proven track record of end-to-end architectural ownership for at least 2 production-grade AI or automation systems that scaled past the prototype stage.
At least 2+ years of professional background reviewing code, leading sprints, or mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or 7+ years of equivalent high-level hands-on experience).
Fluent communication skills with an ability to justify architectural trade-offs to stakeholders and write execute-ready development blueprints.
Technical Skills Required
Hands-on engineering experience with core LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and deploying open-source models using Hugging Face or Ollama.
Production experience building multi-step agentic workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems backed by vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, Supabase).
Practical familiarity with enterprise B2B lead generation, data scraping tools (Apify), and enrichment platforms (Clay, Apollo, Hunter, Findymail).
Experience administering outbound CRMs or automation platforms such as GoHighLevel, LeadConnector, or Instantly.
Competence managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), model fine-tuning processes, and operational model inference cost controls.
