Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership: Lead the technical direction and architecture of major, high-impact engineering initiatives powering proprietary holiday platforms.


Scalable Architecture: Design, build, and evolve highly scalable, innovation-focused software solutions capable of supporting millions of transactions.


Strategic Roadmap: Collaborate with engineering directors to define and shape the long-term technology strategy and cloud infrastructure blueprints.


Engineering Mentorship: Act as a hands-on engineering mentor, guiding and leveling up senior and junior developers across the engineering ecosystem.


Complex Problem Solving: Tackle complex distributed systems challenges, optimize service performance, and ensure platform resiliency during high-traffic booking windows.


Cross-Functional Synergy: Interface closely with product management, UX designers, and operations to turn complex customer requirements into reliable code releases.



Experience & Qualifications


Sustained Engineering Mastery: Proven track record of operating in a senior or staff engineering capacity, executing large-scale software designs inside fast-paced environments.


Distributed Systems Domain: Extensive experience building high-availability, low-latency transaction engines or high-traffic enterprise web services.


Mentorship & Culture Advocacy: Demonstrated experience coaching engineering teams, driving clean code standards, and managing rigorous peer review cycles.


E-Commerce/Travel Exposure: Prior background optimizing high-scale booking systems, shopping carts, or third-party inventory APIs is highly valued.


Academic Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry mastery as a principal contributor.


Technical Skills Required


Modern Back-End Stacks: Advanced proficiency in modern programming languages (such as .NET/C#, Java, Go, or Node.js) configured for enterprise-scale platforms.


Cloud Architecture & Microservices: Hands-on expertise architecting native cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) utilizing structured microservice endpoints and event-driven patterns.


CI/CD Automation Pipelines: Deep understanding of modern DevOps frameworks, container patterns (Docker/Kubernetes), and continuous delivery infrastructure tools.
