Key Responsibilities
Model Engineering: Design, develop, scale, and deploy complex machine learning models engineered to solve demanding, real-world business challenges.
Pipeline Orchestration: Implement, optimize, and systematically maintain robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines for highly efficient data ingestion, cleaning, and storage management.
Code Craftsmanship: Utilize Python and its broader data science libraries to engineer clean, modular, efficient, and highly reusable code structures for core AI applications.
Performance Auditing: Continuously monitor, evaluate, benchmark, and improve the mathematical performance, inference latency, and predictive accuracy of deployed models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional development teams and domain experts to extract data requirements, define upstream data lifecycles, and deliver production-grade AI systems.
Experience & Qualifications
Sustained ML Domain Expertise: Proven track record acting as a Core Machine Learning or AI Engineer, creating and deploying custom algorithmic architectures.
Data Lifecycle Management: Strong foundational understanding of enterprise-level data pipelines, database management practices, and distributed dataset parsing.
Contractor Agility: Demonstrated capability to work autonomously within a fast-moving, remote, contract-based framework alongside global engineering peers.
Objective Technical Excellence: A strong career portfolio centered around verified skills and demonstrated technical execution rather than specific company backgrounds or traditional credentials.
Academic Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent practical mastery across advanced mathematical model construction.
Technical Skills Required
Advanced Python Ecosystem: Mastery over the native Python development stack along with standard ML frameworks (such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
Data Integration & ETL: Practical proficiency executing end-to-end ETL processes, workflow orchestration, and transformation tasks on unstructured or structured formats.
Model Evaluation Frameworks: Deep comprehension of model validation mechanics, including accuracy metrics, loss functions, debugging patterns, and hyperparameter tuning parameters.
