Key Responsibilities


Digital Media Production: Take the lead in producing high-quality videos and digital media elements to support the Coalition’s policy priorities and communication campaigns.


Event Asset Capture: Photograph and film Coalition and partner events, and handle all post-production editing and digital asset management.


Social Media Management: Help with the daily management and audience growth of the Coalition’s social media channels, following the central social strategy closely.


E-Newsletter Distribution: Pitch in with creating, copy-editing, formatting, and automating monthly e-newsletters for members and partners.


Product Development Marketing: Play an active role in producing, laying out, and creatively marketing the Coalition’s storefront product lines.


Website & Blog Administration: Keep the Coalition’s primary website and blog updated, curated, and running smoothly.



Experience & Qualifications


You’ve got experience in field photography and videography, and know your way around capturing and editing raw multimedia content.


Your writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills stand out, with sharp copy-editing and a close attention to detail.


You know how to manage your time, juggle different projects, set priorities, and meet campaign deadlines.


You communicate well with all sorts of people and can build awareness in diverse and sometimes underserved communities.


A genuine interest in environmental protection, clean water advocacy, or working in the nonprofit world is a big plus, but not a must.


Academic Minimum: Open to current students or early-career professionals. We’ll coordinate documentation if you need university credit.



Technical Skills Required


Multimedia Editing Software: Hands-on experience with creative design, photo editing, and video editing software (like Adobe Creative Cloud or open-source options).


Web Publishing Frameworks: Basic comfort with web publishing systems, content management platforms (CMS), and markdown editing.


Social Analytics Tools: Familiarity with social media dashboards, analyzing engagement, and building email newsletters.
