Job Summary and Responsibilities

As the Vice President Residences, you will take full ownership of the operational excellence and strategic growth of Kempinski’s branded residences. 

Your primary mandate is to maintain visual and experiential consistency across all channels while maximizing the financial returns for property owners and real estate partners.

Strategic Planning and Financial Oversight

Portfolio Governance: Lead the long-term business strategy and operational management of Kempinski’s global residential footprint.

Financial Controls: Direct P&L management, focus on Net Operating Income (NOI) optimization, and execute comprehensive long-term CapEx (Capital Expenditure) planning.

Asset Optimization: Collaborate closely with global real estate developers and property owners to protect asset integrity and enhance long-term commercial value.

Stakeholder Management and Brand Compliance

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain deep operational adherence to mixed-use governing documents, legal frameworks, and insurance mandates unique to private ownership under a luxury hotel brand.

Relationship Orchestration: Act as the primary strategic bridge between global developers, brand headquarters, and private homeowners.

Leadership and Motivation: Implement a participative management style that empowers, develops, and motivates property-level leadership teams around the world.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for senior industry professionals who understand the complexities of real estate asset management alongside high-end hospitality standards.

Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of progressive leadership within luxury hospitality or premium residential management. This must include at least 5–7 years in a multi-property or regional oversight capacity.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Domain Expertise: Thorough understanding of branded residential legal structures, private ownership variables, and mixed-use property mechanics.

Financial Acumen: Advanced numbers fluency with a verified history of optimizing NOI and managing multi-million-dollar CapEx budgets.

Communication: Exceptional storytelling, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively influence global stakeholders and developers.

Preferred Certifications: Professional certifications in project management or real estate asset management are highly advantageous.
