Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

The LP1 Warehouse Supervisor will direct all aspects of warehouse operations with absolute ownership of pharmaceutical product safety, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional efficiency. 

You will lead a dedicated team of Warehouse and Materials Management Operators to ensure materials are handled safely and seamlessly to feed the manufacturing pipeline.

Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Health & Safety (HSE)

Regulatory Guardrails: Ensure 100% adherence to FDA, OSHA, DOT, TSA, EPA, and cGMP/GDP guidelines across all material processing lines.

Hazardous Materials Oversight: Enforce rigid protocols for the safe handling, transport, and storage of hazardous chemicals and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical agents.

Investigations & Audits: Lead deviation and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) investigations, manage internal change controls, and actively support official regulatory inspections.

Operational Execution and Materials Governance

Daily Workflow Management: Supervise the floor-level execution of material receiving, raw stock warehousing, shipping active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and central warehouse Weigh & Dispense operations.

Inventory Control Systems: Maintain flawless inventory traceability by utilizing advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) including SAP, EWM, and RF scanning networks.

Floor Presence & Quality: Enforce high housekeeping standards and perform regular inventory counts and cycle audits to maintain absolute system alignment.

Team Development and Facility Startup Support

Team Leadership: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team, setting clear development plans and ensuring all operators are dynamically trained.

CQV Integration: Support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities for newly modified or newly introduced warehouse equipment, processes, and layouts.

SOP Authoring: Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training matrices, and fulfillment strategies (including Just-In-Time/JIT methodologies) to maximize site throughput.

Qualifications and Requirements

Required Technical Skills and Experience

Industrial Logistics Background: Substantial professional experience within warehouse management, logistics, or materials control, with deep preferences for pharmaceutical or biotech cleanroom environments.

Hazardous Protocols Mastery: Verifiable history managing the receipt, chemical segregation, and safe storage of hazardous and controlled materials.

ERP & WMS Systems Fluency: Direct, practical proficiency utilizing enterprise management platforms, specifically SAP and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) software ecosystems.

Leadership Capabilities: Proven ability to manage shift allocations, handle employee relations proactively, optimize overtime resource caps, and cultivate a culture of continuous operational improvement.
