Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Shipper, your main goal will be to handle materials within the warehouse, prepare orders accurately, and manage inventory smoothly so shipments can leave on time.
Order Fulfillment and Flatbed Loading
Safety Protocols: You’ll follow all company safety policies and regulatory laws, making sure you work safely every step of the way.
Material Preparation: You’ll prepare steel tubes, products, and related equipment correctly for distribution and shipment.
Order Processing: You’ll pick, pack, and stage orders for customers and internal teams, using scanning tools to verify accuracy.
Loading Operations: You’ll load prepared orders and heavy shipments safely onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
Receiving and Inventory Control
Inbound Inspection: You’ll receive new materials arriving at the warehouse, inspect them, and report any damages.
Stock Replenishment: You’ll place warehouse stock in the right spots and rotate inventory so that old and new stock are handled properly.
Process Optimization: You’ll help standardize shipping and receiving procedures to reduce mistakes and boost efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
