🔑 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own critical components of the cloud backend infrastructure, balancing day-to-day engineering deliverables with high-level architecture contributions:
Backend Engineering and Distributed Scalability
Service Architecture: Design, develop, test, optimize, and maintain highly secure and massively scalable distributed backend services while adhering to strict code-quality benchmarks.
System Optimization: Proactively identify system bottlenecks, performance gaps, or technical vulnerabilities, directly implementing code optimizations or advocating for architectural changes.
Release & Maintenance: Execute critical system maintenance, deployment automation, and release engineering support activities, including occasional off-hours operational coverage.
Technical Governance and Agile Collaboration
Specifications & Code Review: Author comprehensive functional and technical specifications, design documents, and test strategies while conducting rigorous peer code reviews.
Project Planning: Partner with engineering managers to identify cross-team technical dependencies, define project scopes, and deliver accurate sprint effort estimations.
Quality Assurance Ownership: Drive technical excellence across the squad by writing clean, testable, and secure code, managing manual testing protocols, and developing automated test scripts.
R&D and Tool Evaluation: Research, benchmark, and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and frameworks to recommend modern implementation strategies within the SaaS product suite.
🎯 What You'll Bring (Requirements)

Core Experience and Educational Foundation
Professional Experience: A minimum of five (5) or more years of hands-on software development experience within fast-paced enterprise or product-based SaaS companies.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s (BS) degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. (In lieu of a traditional degree, the employer will accept two extra years of direct, related software industry work experience).
Technical Competencies and Soft Skills
Distributed Systems Mastery: Proven capability designing, debugging, and scaling secure backend components, microservices, and specialized framework libraries.
