Job Summary and Responsibilities
As Senior Manager Procurement, you’ll act as a proactive partner for IATA’s global teams, with a special focus on the digital landscape, software acquisitions, and vendor management.
Strategic Sourcing and IT Procurement
Digital Procurement: Lead sourcing processes for enterprise platforms, cloud networks, complex software licenses, and specialized technical talent or contractors.
Strategic Partnership: Guide global teams on digital tools, and help make decisions around “Buy vs. Build” (whether to develop software in-house or buy it).
Value Optimization: Review external partnerships and vendor contracts to deliver high-quality services and maximum value to the organization at the lowest possible cost.
Corporate Collaboration and Governance
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Align procurement activities with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and Internal Audit teams.
Fiduciary Standards: Ensure procurement processes are transparent and data-driven, following IATA’s financial rules and compliance frameworks.
Continuous Improvement: Play an active role in ongoing digital transformation and continuous improvement within the Corporate Services division.
Qualifications and Requirements
We’re looking for procurement professionals with a deep understanding of corporate environments and modern IT frameworks.
Core Expertise: Solid, long-term experience in procuring technology, IT infrastructure, cloud solutions (SaaS/PaaS), and software licensing.
