Marketing Director Jobs in Manchester, England
BGFG, a rapidly growing global leader in digital media and consumer entertainment, is seeking a commercially astute, ambitious, and high-caliber Marketing Director to take complete strategic and commercial ownership of Gaming Giveaways, one of its premier flagship brands.
Based out of the Manchester corporate hub, this is a heavy senior leadership position requiring true executive autonomy—this role does not take top-down direction but is instead expected to build the brand identity, set the entire marketing infrastructure, and defend and deliver on bottom-line commercial outcomes.
If you are an energetic marketing leader with a rich background in paid performance engines, offline scaling, and high-retention consumer verticals, this board-level position provides an unparalleled growth platform.

The operational and financial parameters for this executive-level appointment are detailed below:
Job Location: Manchester, England, United Kingdom (Executive Hub / On-site integration).

Role Title: Marketing Director.
Employment Type: Full-time (Executive Management / Senior Leadership).
Salary & Compensation: Premium executive scale (Commensurate with performance tracking and enterprise leadership experience, accompanied by top-tier benefits).
Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will operate directly at the board level, owning the end-to-end P&L, quarterly forecasts, and strategic marketing proposals. You will lead the brand forward into adjacent verticals with complete functional independence.
Brand Ownership and Board Governance
Brand Strategy: Assume absolute ownership of the Gaming Giveaways brand positioning, tone of voice, end-user consumer experience, and macro commercial trajectory.
Boardroom Representation: Present comprehensive performance reviews, scalability plans, and data-backed commercial recommendations directly to the board during quarterly executive assemblies.
Vertical Expansion: Strategically lead and transition the brand's footprint into new prize structures and adjacent high-growth verticals.
Commercial Optimization and Performance Marketing

P&L Fiscal Stewardship: Own the entire marketing P&L plan. Forecast and manage substantial budgets with a precise, granular understanding of unit economics, including CAC, LTV, payback intervals, and ROI.
Performance Engine Leadership: Oversee and scale paid performance marketing as the primary user acquisition engine across paid social, programmatic networks, display, paid search, and emerging attribution channels.
A/B Testing & Channel Scaling: Drive measurable optimization loops across channels through creative iteration, structured multivariate testing, and absolute data discipline.
Traditional Media, Retentions, and Lifecycle Management
Offline Integrated Media: Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated traditional media placements including television networks, radio syndicates, Out-of-Home (OOH) billboards, and metropolitan transport/taxi branding, ensuring perfect attribution synchronization with digital performance channels.
Influencer Ecosystems: Architect and manage creator and influencer partnerships at scale—from macro-strategy, target selection, and contract negotiations to absolute ROI measurement.
Funnel & Conversion Engineering: Boost conversion rates across the funnel via data-led Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), automated personalisation, and active churn reduction frameworks.
Reactivation & Retention: Maximize the active player base by building structured reactivation loops that win back lapsed users and increase repeat-purchase velocity.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for a resilient, outcome-focused executive with an absolute bias for action who treats the brand as their own corporate entity.
Required Experience and Core Competency
Senior Strategic Leadership: Extensive track record in a senior marketing leadership or director-level capacity, showcasing deep, hands-on mastery over paid performance marketing as a primary business lever.

Advanced Financial Literacy: High-level mastery of corporate financial metrics (P&L optimization, margin preservation, unit economics, and cash flow impacts) with a history of rejecting vanity metrics in favor of bottom-line contributions.
Team Scaling & Mentorship: Proven success leading, upskilling, and hiring high-performance internal marketing arrays while managing stakeholder relationships across Product, Finance, and Operations.
Preferred Industry Experience
iGaming or Real-Money Gaming: Extensive prior experience operating within the gambling, prize competition, or iGaming industry is highly advantageous.
High-Retention E-Commerce: Alternatively, a strong background in non-traditional e-commerce frameworks, specifically subscription-based models or high-frequency consumer verticals where LTV, repeat purchase metrics, and long-term retention serve as core financial drivers.
