This role is based on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) and is part of the company’s busy People Services function. Working in this position, you’ll have flexibility to split your time between home and office using a hybrid model.

Job Location: Solihull, England, United Kingdom (Hemel Hempstead office is also an option, on a hybrid basis).

Job Summary and Responsibilities


As a Learning Coordinator, you’ll handle administration and scheduling of all learning activities and training events. Your main goal is to make sure employee training records and related data always stay up to date.



Learning Administration and System Scheduling


Activity Coordination: Start to finish, you’ll manage booking and scheduling of all learning activities, training sessions, and events.


Competency Cards: You’ll maintain employees’ learner competency cards—which includes applying for new cards, processing renewals, and keeping the system updated.


Pre & Post Learning Care: You’ll oversee everything before and after training sessions, like sending joining instructions, handling course waiting lists, managing cancellations, and issuing certificates.


Supplier Liaison: You’ll stay in contact with trainers, internal facilities, and external suppliers, plus process course evaluation forms.



Financial Support and Reporting


Financial Transactions: Raise purchase requisitions (PRs) and process internal cost transactions and invoices accurately and on time.


Data & Matrix Reports: Prepare regular reports and matrices on learning activities and training status.


Customer Service: Guide employees and managers through learning processes and company procedures, answering their queries.



Qualifications and Requirements


We’re looking for candidates who can complete their work on time in a fast-paced environment without heavy supervision.


Administrative Experience: Strong and proven experience in varied administrative roles in a busy corporate setting.


Software Skills: Excellent and up-to-date experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Data Integrity: Great ability to enter data and maintain accurate records.


Communication & Organization: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, plus solid organizational skills to meet deadlines.


Preferred Advantage: If you already have experience in a Learning & Development (L&D) department or you know how to run Learning Management Systems (LMS), you’ll be given preference.
