Job Summary

As a Cross Functional Test Lead, you will own the end-to-end management and coordination of testing efforts across multiple cross-functional retail projects with concurrent timelines. 

Your core job will involve establishing strict QA standards, designing master test plans, and coordinating onsite and offshore teams to deliver high-quality, high-signal software product releases.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end testing pipelines for multiple cross-functional retail systems while maintaining project delivery deadlines.

QA Standards: Establish robust QA guidelines, engineering standards, testing technologies, and analytical approaches for global software teams.

Team Coordination: Direct, manage, and coordinate the daily testing activities of both onsite and offshore technical teams.

Strategy Execution: Active participation in creating, expanding, and executing comprehensive test processes, mitigation strategies, and test coverage plans.

Automation Collaboration: Partner closely with the Automation Lead to optimize regression test cycles with an ultimate goal of achieving 100% automation.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with corporate business units, technical developers, and project managers to streamline software development schedules.

Risk Presentation: Identify architectural system risks, formulate technical mitigations, and present software release evaluations clearly to Senior Management.

Experience & Qualifications

QA Engineering Track Record: Solid professional background in software quality assurance, system integration testing, and shipping enterprise-grade retail applications.

Team Leadership: A proven background in inspiring, coordinating, and managing multi-location technical teams (onsite and offshore).

Hands-on Autonomy: Demonstrated capability to balance high-level team management with deep, hands-on independent software testing execution.

Risk Assessment Skills: Sharp attention to detail with the ability to identify potential software failures and communicate complex fixes to leadership.

Global Flexibility: Readiness to adapt and support software rollouts across different global regions and multi-national time zones.
