Job Summary

As a Branch Operations Officer (Grade OG II - OG III), you’ll be responsible for the daily operations of the branch. 

Your main duties involve handling counter services, cash receipts, payments, and managing ATMs according to banking rules and SOPs. 

You need to understand AML/CFT regulations and the bank’s risk-based approach inside out, so every transaction stays secure and transparent. In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of branch managers and senior staff, reduce operational risks, and boost customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Counter Services: Handle cash collection, payments, and daily operations as per the Branch Operation Manual.

ATM & Card Management: Ensure ATMs are replenished and cards are processed on time, keeping everything running smoothly.

Account Services: Open new accounts, issue cheque books, and take care of all account maintenance tasks.

Compliance & Risk: Fully comply with AML/CFT regulations and bank policies to protect the bank’s reputation.

Customer Support: Actively resolve customer queries and complaints, and help them switch to digital banking.

Audit & Regularization: Address issues raised by audit and compliance teams and make sure they don’t happen again.

Sales Support: Help the sales team achieve branch deposit targets, especially for Current Accounts.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: Preference goes to candidates with less than two years of relevant experience in banking.

Education: You must have at least a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.

Grade: This position is for OG II or OG III grades.
