Job Summary


As the Business Development Manager (Lifts), your main goal is to grow revenue within our lift business unit and strengthen the company’s market presence. 


You’ll be focusing on both new builds and modernization projects. In this role, you’ll work alongside developers, consultants, and contractors to build a strong project pipeline. It goes beyond sales, you’ll oversee tender management and commercial proposals as well.



Key Responsibilities


Strategic Expansion: Develop and execute business growth strategies for the lift market.


Client Engagement: Generate new business leads with developers and contractors, and solve issues for public sector clients.


Market Monitoring: Keep an eye on competitor activity and pricing trends to position the company better.


Tender Management: Manage the entire tendering process and ensure timely submission of technical and commercial bids.


Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost proposals and work with procurement teams to secure competitive pricing.


Governance & Risk: Make sure all submissions align with company standards and profitability targets.



Experience & Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. Extra qualifications in project management are a plus.


Experience: Minimum 10 years in business development, sales, or tendering (lift or construction sector preferred).


Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of lift systems and project lifecycles is essential.


Commercial Expertise: Strong skills in bid strategy, contract negotiation, and cost estimation.
