Job Summary
As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist, your core responsibility is to implement and sustain TRACC and Manufacturing Excellence systems.
You’ll oversee key locations like Hammond, Long Beach, Martinez, and Portland. It’s not just about driving improvements, you’ll focus on building leadership capability so that line leaders can own and sustain these routines. This job requires about 50% travel, as you’ll be responsible for training and monitoring at different sites.
Key Responsibilities
System Deployment: Roll out and govern TRACC and Manufacturing Excellence operating systems.
Capability Building: Strengthen leadership and team capabilities so CI becomes part of their everyday routine.
Operating Routines: Embed disciplined operating routines and make sure they last over time.
Problem Solving: Use data analysis and structured problem-solving to address challenges and find sustainable solutions.
Organization Training: Train teams on CI tools and methodologies so organizational capability grows.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across various levels of the organization so you can lead change smoothly.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required (preference given to Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering).
Experience: At least 6 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Certifications: Lean or Six Sigma certified candidates are preferred.
Leadership Skills: You need a strong record in people management and team leadership.
Tools Knowledge: Deep understanding of Lean tools like Daily Management, 5S, and Visual Management.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to different sites across the United States.

Salary & Location
