Job Summary
As a Community Manager, you’ll be in charge of all operational and physical assets at the property. Your job goes beyond just collecting rent, you’ll be handling leasing, marketing, maintenance, and compliance, all according to company policies.
You’ll build strong connections with tenants and owners by adopting Cascade Management’s service model, Friendly, Helpful, Knowledgeable, Respectful, and Responsive.
This is a full-time role where you’ll be responsible for keeping the property financially healthy and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Supervise daily property functions, leasing, and resident services.
Financial Management: Collect rent, issue late notices, reconcile accounts receivable, and ensure timely bank deposits.
Compliance: Ensure full adherence to HUD/RD and Tax Credit laws, as well as State Residential Landlord & Tenant Acts.
Property Inspections: Inspect the grounds and buildings daily to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Staff Management: Guide property staff and make sure they follow company policies.
Reporting: Prepare weekly reports and keep the file system organized for easy audits and inspections.
Conflict Resolution: Resolve tenant issues and handle evictions or legal notices when necessary.
Experience & Qualifications
Industry Experience: Solid property management experience, especially with Tax Credit or HUD properties.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations.
Technical Skills: Strong abilities in financial reporting and basic accounting to manage budgets and expenses.
Professionalism: Ability to communicate with clients and residents respectfully and skillfully.
Leadership: Experience leading staff and improving their performance.

Salary & Location
Salary: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on your experience).
Location: Federal Way, WA (Auburn area).
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 am - 5 pm).
