Job Summary
As a Site Manager, you’ll represent Thermo Systems at the job site. Your main job is to coordinate and oversee all field installation activities.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to make sure everything runs on schedule and meets safety standards.
This job calls for hands-on leadership, where you’ll stay in touch with customer reps, general contractors, and third-party trades. You’ll also be traveling a lot since you’ll need to be active and present on project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership: Lead on-site installation and build a culture that puts safety first.
Quality Control: Check work quality and make sure inspections get finished on time.
Schedule Monitoring: Keep an eye on project progress and handle any delays or risks immediately.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships and coordinate with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
Drawing Control: Manage the latest versions of installation drawings and keep as-built documentation up to date.
Change Management: Document any changes in the project scope and update the Project Manager accordingly.
Material Readiness: Make sure all materials and tools are on site so work never stops.
Experience & Qualifications
Educational Background: Experience in electrical installation, industrial controls, automation, or construction management.
Industrial Exposure: A background working in industrial environments like manufacturing, energy, or distribution facilities.
Field Experience: Hands-on experience managing third-party electrical contractors and working on GC-controlled sites.
Certifications: Preference goes to candidates with certifications like OSHA-10 or OSHA-30.
Documentation Skills: Skilled at keeping daily logs, RFIs, and tracking progress.
