Job Summary

As a Security Operations Engineer / SOC Analyst, you will be completely responsible for handling the end-to-end monitoring, detection, analysis, and response lifecycle for cybersecurity threats and incidents. 

Your core job will involve managing security events via SIEM tools, performing deep root-cause analysis, executing forensic investigations, and coordinating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to contain and eradicate security breaches.

Key Responsibilities

Security Monitoring: Monitor corporate networks, cloud infrastructures, and system logs in real-time using SIEM frameworks and advanced security tools.

Incident Response: Analyze incoming security incidents, determine exact root causes, and perform professional technical escalations as required.

Forensic Analysis: Conduct rigorous forensic investigations following security breaches, documenting critical findings and architectural vulnerabilities.

Breach Containment: Assist dynamically in containment, eradication, and systemic recovery efforts to safeguard the organization's digital assets.

Playbook Maintenance: Regularly update, optimize, and maintain comprehensive incident response documentation, security blueprints, and automated playbooks.

Experience & Qualifications

SOC Background: Practical, proven experience working within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, analyzing high-volume security alerts.

SIEM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with industry-standard SIEM technologies, log aggregation utilities, and network monitoring systems.

Threat Intelligence: A strong understanding of modern cyber threat landscapes, vector mechanics, vulnerability points, and incident response procedures.

Certifications (Preferred): Professional industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or Certified Incident Handler are a plus but not mandatory.

Team Communication: Excellent soft skills and communication abilities to collaborate transparently with multi-disciplinary engineering and project teams.
