Key Responsibilities
Platform Re-Architecture: Transform an early-stage generative AI prototype into a highly polished, user-friendly, and commercially scalable web application.
Canvas Editor Development: Design and build an interactive, web-based cartoon book editor supporting image uploads, story text editing, page previews, and final layouts.
AI Workflow Optimization: Integrate and tune AI image generation pipelines to optimize character consistency, facial recognition, and artistic style uniformity across multi-page book variations.
Text Layer Implementation: Build a dynamic canvas-based text overlay engine rendering text as a separate, editable layers allowing adjustments to fonts, positions, and structural styling.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner directly with the founding team to evaluate technical architecture, recommend model pipelines, and plan long-term integrations with print-on-demand APIs.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Full-Stack Web Developer building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), SaaS tools, or highly interactive creative design platforms.
- Extensive experience handling media processing lifecycles including secure uploads, cloud storage, asset optimization, and real-time canvas transformations.
- Excellent technical consultation and communication skills in English to proactively contribute structural architectural recommendations.
- Previous experience or portfolio work involving stable diffusion workflows, LoRA training, face-swapping algorithms, or print-on-demand automation is a massive plus.
Technical Skills Required
Frontend Architecture: Advanced proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js or Next.js.
Backend & Storage: Scalable development using Node.js or Python, paired with efficient database design and cloud media bucket management.
Graphics & Canvas Engineering: Strong experience building interactive design layers using HTML5 Canvas, Fabric.js, Three.js, or similar frontend drawing libraries.
AI & API Integration: Deep understanding of integrating and optimizing Generative AI image models (via Midjourney API, Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, or Replicate API webhooks).
