Salary, Location, and Employment Type


Here’s what you need to know about pay and location:


Job Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid/On-site options)


Expected Salary: £150,000 - £200,000 per year (Based on experience and industry benchmarks)


Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent)


Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)



Job Summary and Responsibilities


As VP of Client Services, you act as the bridge between agency and client. You’re responsible for the account’s financial health, client retention, and team performance.



Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor for key global and regional clients, building long-term partnerships.


Business Growth: Boost revenue from existing clients through upselling and cross-selling, and help with new business pitches.


Financial Management: Oversee account profitability, forecasting, and billing to make sure margins stay healthy.


Team Leadership: Mentor the client services team, review their performance, and foster an inclusive culture.


Global Coordination: Make sure multinational account teams are operationally aligned and following a consistent strategy.


Risk Management: Spot risks affecting clients or agency partners early and find solutions.


Process Innovation: Use new tools and technologies to improve client service models and workflows.



Qualifications and Skills


For this senior role, these skills and experiences are essential:


Experience: 12 to 15 years working in an agency, consulting, or healthcare/pharma industry.


Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor others.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications.


Marketing Mastery: Recognized as a thought leader in digital marketing and integrated communications.


Commercial Acumen: Strong track record meeting P&L targets and finding business growth opportunities.


Technical Understanding: Deep knowledge of technical development processes and marketing analytics.


Travel: Must be willing and able to travel about 30% of the time.
